Cette Back in Live sera sous le signe de l'éclectisme, on vous proposera différentes variantes de la musique électronique avec pour commencer un live Trip Hop de Klad. Sundersky nous fera le plaisir de venir de Toulon pour nous réchauffer avec sa House funky puis la pression montera d'un cran avec la Techouse puissante et groovy de Medalpine. Après avoir joué à notre première soirée à la Scène Bastille, Piero Geiger des soirées CCMMF sera de retour avec un live résolument Techno. Pour les amoureux de la Drum & Bass, Meo Art & Mc Runigga nous présenteront leur dernier projet live: « Arsenal ». Waner sera aux commandes de la vidéo pour nous faire voyager dans ses univers cosmiques tout au long de la nuit.

Piero Geiger's live act, greatly influenced by techno from the 90s, is put together without predefined tracks, this creating an improvised series of musical sequences.

Medalpine Live (Intacto Records)

Medalpine started his musical journey by learning piano and discovering moroccan clubs, house, techno and progressive. As a DJ/Producer, he is comfortable playing mix dj set as well as doing live performance and open to other different musical influences. Devoted to spectral sounds of minimal techno and the dance floor, MedAlpine cultivate during his performance a sense of groove and a singular elegance when playing his electronic music.

16.09.2011 BACK IN LIVE « souffle sa première bougie »

Back in Live va souffler sa première bougie à bord de la Péniche Cinéma dans le décor futuriste du parc de la Villette. Pour cette occasion, Le duo Wumm, un de nos groupe préféré a répondu présent à notre invitation et sera de retour avec un live Deep House classe et envoutant. Nous avons également invité le trio Antislash qui nous promet un live House pointu et destructeur de dancefloor. Après plusieurs sorties sur les labels Circus Company, Karat, Frankie et Salon Records, ils ont reçut le soutient et la reconnaissance des pionniers de la scène Techno Minimale comme Ark, Pépé Braddock, Cabanne, Zip et le maître incontesté Ricardo Villalobos. Nous sommes heureux d'accueillir Cheperkat, artiste à la griffe dynamique et groovy connu pour ses nombreuses productions et son émission « Les Contes Du Chat Cheper » sur la Waf. Nous retrouverons également nos deux résidents Klad et Underclocker aux machines, prévoyez vos gilets, le canal risque d'être très agité...

Antislash Live (Karat Records :: Circus Company :: Salon Records :: Frankie Records, Minibar)

Activists on the Paris minimal scene since their beginnings in 2006, the group Antislash produce sharp, destructive, dance floor house music.

On the decks, they rhythmically exude their passion for electronic music and clubbing.

After several releases on the labels Circus Company, Karat and Frankie Records, Antislash recently remixed Tin Man for Salon Records while continuing to prepare original material in their studio for release in autumn 2011 on Salon Records.

After a huge gig at the last Salon Records night @ Rex Club they prepare a new round in Berlin @ Bar 25 on September 24th.

Klad Live (Back in Live)

Klad started his musical course at the Music Academy in Paris where he studied the piano, the trumpet in classical and jazz music for many years. At the age of 17, he discovered "djing" and electronic music with his brother in 1997 by the means of mixed compilations like Ministry of Sound and the Techno Vision festival where played Aux 88, Scan X, Juan Atkins, DJ Bone...

Then, he mixed different kind of music in many bars and clubs in Paris. His main influence remained to be the emergence of "TekHouse" from England and mixes from Laurent Garnier, Djulz, Freddy, G-Rom and also first parties "House of Legend" at L'enfer and "Automatik" at Rex Club.

In 2003, he joined Jeff and Lenz of Access Night for "Heavenly Night" parties at Folies Pigalles then he integrated the Sabotage Crew and played in many underground parties and a "Sabotage Tour" in Spain.

He played also in different parties and radio show (Radio ABF and Oxygène) to realize mixes of quality thanks to his artistic experience and his music culture which has been enriched since the beginning. Since 2005, Klad began to produce various styles of electronic music, his musical inspiration have no limit.

He has been resident in the famous "DTPM" party at Fabric in London (2007) and his friend Joe Maglia give to him two residencies in Chelsea (London) at Art Bar (2008) and Vendôme Knightsbrige (2009). One year later, Klad launch a new project about electronic music live, Back In Live...

Cheperkat Live (Percent Records :: KoS :: WAF Radio)

Officially started on the Parisian scene in early 2000, Jeremy Delzors aka Cheperkat knew how to set his dynamic and groovy touch all night long for about 10 years.

Whether he's DJing or producing, Cheperkat likes to alternate between House and Techno with a bit of minimal. He combines his composition with African and Latin sounds in order to bring an organic vibe to his electronic music.

In 2008, he co-founded the association "Keep On Smiling" which enabled him to share his knowledge and build an artistic community.

Intrigued by the radio, Cheperkat was broadcasted every first Wednesday of the month at the Web radio operator Waf Radio. During the show, "Les Contes du Chat Cheper" he invited guest artists who he admired to play live mix.

Although, he signed some EPs and remixes on different record labels such as Potobolo, Physical Gravity and Automat X, he decided to focus his time on composing several tracks that would reflect his personality and influences better. Today, he performs his tracks in live and still releases EPs and remixes on various labels.

Back in Live vous invite à l'Opa pour fêter la fête de la musique avant l'heure. Logan Dataspirit ouvrira les festivités avec une performance live orientée Deep House. En 2005, il signe un premier remix pour Electric Rescue sur Scandium Records puis multiplie les productions et les remixes sur de nombreux labels américains et européens. Notre deuxième invité est Kaine, artiste incontournable de la scène parisienne. Après sa fameuse émission Deep Techno sur radio FG, Il signe plusieurs remixes sur Btrax et Electronical Reeds ainsi que de nombreux retournages de dancefloors dont le Rex Club. Notre résident Klad sera accompagné d'Undercloker aux machines pour vous faire groover jusqu'à l'aube.

Logan Dataspirit (SoulHeat Records)

Logan Dataspirit is a french artist originally trained in the classical field of music. He set up, in 2000, with the help of Drako and Timop (CaptivaSon), the dataspirit collective, in order to promote underground electronic music. Together with dataspirit, Logan performs dj sets and live shows for radios (RMS, Vmix.fr, TriangleFM) and festivals (Rock'n Solex), playlisting tracks from Deep House to Drum'n Bass through Westcoast, Electro or Breakbeat. Since 2003, he is actively involved in the soulful UniversDj association where he produces a large number of tracks under the creative commons licence. Logan's compositions are mainly influenced by artists like The Future Sound Of London (which stays his main reference), Björk, Luke Slater, Lusine, Deep Dish and Klute. He also starts to produce remixes for various artists and takes, in 2004, the first place in a remix contest organized by Frédéric Galliano (FCom, Frikyiwa) and Vmix. In 2006, Logan releases a remix on french leading techno label Scandium Records (André Dalcan, Paul Nazca) with Electric Rescue (D'Jedi), Playerz and Bastien Grine. He also releases his first EP, Time Shift, on US label Fake Science. Since 2007, Logan produces remixes for artists such as Samarah, Floy (including Africa to Paradise remix played at WMC07), Fresh 27, Sambox and Serious Man. These remixes are released on labels like Scandium Records (Fr), SoulHeat Records (Be), 202 Digital (Us), TriCircle Recordings (De), Fake Science (Us) and Concorde Avenue (Fr). He also performs a live at Cedub Studio, Oakland California, released as a Fake Science Lab Report and broadcasted on KYOU radio. Logan is now collaborating with various artists for remixes and original new productions.

La soirée dédiée aux musiques électroniques live est de retour le dimanche 13 Mars 2011 à la Chaufferie de La Machine du Moulin Rouge. Pour débuter les festivités, Greg Lynch, un Sud Africain  tombé amoureux de la capitale  allumera  la flamme de la Chaufferie avec un live Trip Hop suivit de la Deep House chaude et raffinée distillée par le duo Wumm qui sera spécialement accompagné de la sublime voix de Miss Drop. On ne présente plus nos deux Chefs préférés, Sucré Salé du label Parisien Karat Records qui fera monter la température de la Chaufferie avec un live très épicé qui a déjà enflammé de nombreux dancefloors de la capitale. Pour cette édition, notre cerise sur le gâteau, la crème de la crème, c'est Funk D'Void, artiste incontournable de la scène électronique mondiale. Ses nombreux hits sur le prestigieux label écossais Soma en font une figure emblématique, il a remixé de nombreux artistes comme Underworld, New Order, Kevin Saunderson, Laurent Garnier...

Pour terminer, votre hôte,  Klad reprendra les machines surchauffées pour vous faire voyager aux frontières du groove. Entrée  libre toute la nuit dès 23h00, posez vos RTT, sa va chauffer...

We hope you enjoyed the end of year celebration and we wish you all the best for this new year 2011. Thank you for all your supports, we have got some big surprises for the next year.

The industry of electronic music is crossing a hard crisis. Labels are mainly producing electronic music tracks for djs but the pioneers of this music who are playing live such as Kraftwerk, Model500, Chemichal Brother, Prodigy... are still present because they have not lost the original meaning of this music, which is to take their audience on a journey and not boost the djs chart.

New technologies also provide more opportunities to create your own music rather than simply playing other's music. The world is changing faster and faster as well as the music. Producers of electronic music are becoming more technicians and less musicians, they pay attention to technical details and just follow the trends. In electronic music, the essential is the emotion, there is no established rules and your imagination is your sole limit.

That's why Back in Live will open an alternative by promoting electronic artists playing live only, the adventure continues, stay tuned...

Wumm Live (Soulheat :: Atomix Soda :: Vmix)

Wumm for "Web Underground Music Movement" is a band of two producers from Paris and Lyon who have been playing Deep House live for five years. Their first Ep was signed by the label Chocoflash, the adventure continues with a collaboration with Marlene Rod's. They are also signed to the label SoulHeat for the "Broken Soul Ep" and on the  Atomic Soda label for the "Piano Putsh Ep".

 

Meo Art Live (Hyperdogs Recordings :: Deoda)

Meo Art is passionate about graphic design and painting but he found a new vibration in a Black Label Party: "Before discovering the Drum & Bass, my musical life had no meaning ... "

He met Dj Otis who explained to him the philosophy of the Drum & Bass and the process to make this music. Later he joined Hyperdogs then produced several tracks on Under Pressure records including a Dj Friction remix.

Each live is performed as a digital symphony with a specific theme which has a meaning going far beyond and this drives his life, for him the Drum & Bass is organic, cubic, spherical and futurist...
